Neoga Prairie Remnant

This recently discovered one-acre prairie remnant is located just south of Neoga.  Periodic mowing has kept woody species out, and part of the site has been classified by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Illinois Natural History Survey as Class A Prairie.  Diane Cole took the lead in getting this beautiful little remnant protected.
